  • Leads content strategy for PRSSA National publications, including the official blog and podcast, overseeing creation, curation, editing and revision.

  • Spearheads initiatives for the entire society like creating a video form of the podcast for accessibility and conducting 1:1 research with the over 300 chapters and 7,500+ members worldwide to enhance accessibility for student portfolio building.

  • Expanded accessibility to PRSSA National publications by introducing Spanish-language content and launching video podcasts.

  • Manages a five-member team, fostering a diverse and inclusive environment, to achieve strategic creative objectives and advance organizational goals.

  • Conducted in-depth research to stay updated on industry trends, relevant stories and client information, ensuring that media materials were timely and aligned with current developments in a variety of industries, including but not limited to: real estate, AI and tech, sustainable technology, food & drink and the agency itself.

Chapter President

  • Spearheaded coordination and execution of diverse Chapter events such as speaker engagements, agency tours and other activities.

  • Served as the Chapter’s official ambassador to students, professors, departments, the university, our local Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Chapter and PRSSA National.

  • Oversaw a team of six student leaders to ensure the progression and processes of our Chapter in multiple areas, including but not limited to: social media, high school outreach, campus outreach, membership initiatives, programming and administrative efforts. These efforts paid off via earning two Chapter awards at the national level—Star Chapter and first place Pacesetter—and an individual award: National President’s Citation (more information below).

  • Maintained Chapter recruitment and strengthening, building a strong community with 35 members.

  • Implemented effective strategies to increase Chapter outreach, via hosting PRSSA’s annual International Conference (ICON) in 2023, where we were able to bring 20+ students from our Chapter to Nashville, where they were able to partake in personal and professional development, networking and more.
